Our orthopaedic group specializes in treating trauma and performing joint replacements. We have the surgical expertise necessary to successfully treat complicated problems such as complex pelvic fractures and reconstruction of limb deformities, while we are also well-practiced in performing now-common procedures such as hip replacement.

By staying current with the newest developments in procedures and technology, we are able to give our patients shorter recovery times and better results than were possible with older treatment methods. Some of our experts at Alpine Orthopaedic Specialists are among the first doctors in Utah to perform such successful new procedures such as meniscus transplants, hip resurfacing, fresh allograph osteochondral transplants, and arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs.

Utah Sports Medicine

At Alpine Orthpaedic Specialists we have on staff leaders in sports medicine, treating both competition-level athletes and weekend warriors in Utah and across the nation. Our specialists understand the nature of sports injuries and what combinations of treatments and therapies work best. For instance, differences in knee anatomy call for different surgical techniques in males and females. The AOS orthopaedic group is made of experienced surgeons who are acutely aware of such gender-specific needs, using computer navigation to aid in surgery in these and other instances.
